Painting presents

I racked my brains for months to think of what to get Mum for Christmas. She didn't want anything in particular so I decided to paint her a picture of us. It sort of looks like us... I'm hoping I'll improve!!

Finally sketching again...

When you take an art qualification it can sometimes feel as if you only ever paint/draw etc for a deadline, or for someone else. I haven't sketched for my own personal enjoyment (or done anything artistic for that matter) in a really long time. It's safe to say this isn't the best sketch I have ever done, but it's a start. I intend to draw a lot over the summer so hopefully I'll be posting more too :)
